The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have open availability to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays , as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and assign freight shipments to drivers using vehicle dispatch software and transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management. Monitor GPS and GIS data to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and adjust dispatch plans as needed. Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems and phone call management tools. Manage shipping and receiving schedules, ensuring accurate data entry and record keeping within logistics platforms. Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies during dispatching activities. Handle inquiries related to freight status, delivery times, and route adjustments with professionalism and clarity. Maintain organized documentation of dispatch records, driver logs, and shipment details for reporting and analysis. Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize transportation planning, reduce delays, and improve overall fleet management. Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for process improvements in road transportation operations.

Responsibilities:

Requirements Requirements:

Previous trucking/dispatch experience preferred. Bilingual E nglish/Spanish preferred . Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills. Must be flexible with scheduling. Open availability for a 24-hour operation, including weekends and holidays. Reliable transportation to Fontana. Knowledge of DOT regulations governing road transportation operations. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite for reporting and documentation purposes. Analysis skills to evaluate operational performance and implement improvements. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. .
