At Marin Airporter, we are looking for a highly organized, tech-savvy, and reliable individual to serve as part of the operational hub of our local transit fixed routes and fleet operations. While prior dispatch experience is preferred, strong computer literacy and exceptional organizational skills are what we need most. If you are detail-oriented, multi-task well under pressure, and comfortable navigating software systems, we will train you on our transit operations! PM What You'll Do Keep Marin Moving:

Utilize transit management systems, CAD/AVL software, and digital mapping tools to track vehicles, maintain schedule adherence, and monitor route performance in real-time.

Coordinate Communications:

Serve as the primary contact for our bus drivers, providing clear updates, detour instructions, and day-to-day operational support.

Resolve Incidents:

Swiftly handle traffic delays, Bay Area weather impacts, passenger concerns, or vehicle mechanical issues by dispatching supervisor units or maintenance as needed.

Maintain Meticulous Records:

Accurately track shift updates, driver assignments, daily run sheets, and operational logs in our central database. What We Are Looking For Computer & Tech Skills (Required): High computer literacy. Must be adept at navigating multiple software applications simultaneously, managing digital databases, and maintaining rapid, accurate data entry/typing. Organizational Mastery (Required): Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and organize multiple moving parts during peak operational hours.

Communication Skills:

Clear, professional verbal communication over two-way radio and professional written logging skills.

Experience:

Prior transit, emergency (911), or fleet dispatching experience is preferred, but top candidates with exceptional administrative, computer, and organizational backgrounds are encouraged to apply. What's in it for You?
