Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule freight pickups and deliveries using transportation management systems and vehicle dispatch software. Communicate effectively via multi-line phone systems, managing high call volumes with professionalism and courtesy. Utilize GPS and GIS tools to monitor vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure timely deliveries. Maintain accurate data entry for shipment details, driver logs, and internal records using Microsoft Office and Oracle Transportation Management. Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols during all dispatching activities. Collaborate with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers through internal communication channels to resolve issues promptly. Manage shipping & receiving schedules, track freight movements, and update relevant stakeholders on delivery statuses. Skills Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS), vehicle dispatch software, and logistics platforms such as Oracle Transportation Management. Strong knowledge of road transportation operations, fleet management, and shipping & receiving procedures. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with phone etiquette that fosters positive customer interactions. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Analysis skills to evaluate routes, optimize dispatch plans, and improve overall transportation efficiency. Familiarity with

GIS, GPS

technology, and transportation planning tools to enhance route accuracy and delivery performance.
