Job Summary Duties Help Performs advanced emergency medical dispatch (EMD) services to callers with medical emergencies using the local authority's emergency medical dispatch system. Provides emergency 911-call taking and communication services. Operates and maintains communication devices, automated data processing equipment, printers, recorders, facsimile equipment, security monitoring and other devices installed in the emergency communications center. Maintains reports and retrieves needed statistical information using the local authority's fire incident reporting system(s).
