About Your Role The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating daily transportation activities by dispatching drivers, monitoring compliance, and serving as a primary point of contact for customers regarding delivery execution. This role ensures accurate order creation, timely dispatch, and delivery confirmation while supporting driver performance and compliance. Load Dispatch & Daily Operations Dispatch loads to commercial drivers and manage daily route executionCoordinate schedules to meet customer delivery requirementsCommunicate proactively with drivers regarding assignments and changes Driver Leadership & Operational Support Coach and support drivers through regular engagement, required meetings, and targeted training focused on safety, compliance, performance, and customer servicePromote a positive, accountable team culture that supports retention and continuous improvementCoordinate driver scheduling, equipment readiness, and maintenance needs to ensure operational continuityManage timekeeping, PTO tracking, and support performance monitoring through KPI reporting DOT Compliance & Safety Support Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) and ELD compliance for assigned driversEnsure adherence to DOT and company safety requirementsAssist with accident reporting, investigations, and documentation Order Creation & System Accuracy Create accurate delivery orders (DOs) in IFSEnsure order details are complete and correct prior to dispatchReceive and confirm delivery completion within the ERP system Customer Communication & Service Execution Confirm orders and delivery details with customersProvide delivery status updates and resolve execution issuesServe as a key point of contact during delivery operations Core Competencies Detail Oriented - Consistently checks and rechecks work product for accuracy.
