About Horizon Automotive Service Center Horizon Automotive Service Center is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Grand Junction, Colorado, with strong general repair and intermediate-to-advanced diagnostic skills. This opportunity pays $40

•45 per flagged hour with a flat-rate or hybrid pay option and estimated annual earning potential of $75,000

•120,000. The shop offers a Monday-Friday schedule with a half day Friday, heated and air-conditioned bays , training support, and a collaborative team environment. Technicians work on a mix of domestic, Asian, European, and fleet vehicles. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair drivability, electrical, engine, transmission, brake, and other general automotive concerns. Perform intermediate-to-advanced automotive diagnostics using Snap-on and Autel scan tools. Complete mechanical repairs, including engine and transmission work, brake repairs, and component removal and replacement. Perform maintenance services and vehicle inspections across domestic, Asian, European, and fleet vehicles. Complete digital vehicle inspections using AutoServe1; the shop pays 0.5 flagged hour for each DVI. Handle a workload that is approximately 50% diagnostics and 50% repair and maintenance work. Work toward an expected production level of 40-45 flagged hours per week. Qualifications At least 4 years of automotive repair experience. Strong general repair skills with intermediate-to-advanced diagnostic ability. Experience diagnosing electrical and drivability concerns. Ability to perform engine, transmission, brake, maintenance, inspection, and general repair work. ASE certifications are preferred; ASE reimbursement is available. Digital vehicle inspection experience is preferred. Must have personal tools required to perform assigned technician work. Compensation & Benefits $40

The facility has five bays and five lifts, including an alignment rack, with both heat and air conditioning in the bays. Technicians have access to Snap-on and Autel diagnostic equipment, and the shop uses NAPA TRACS and Mitchell systems. The team works together on difficult diagnostics rather than leaving technicians to solve every problem on their own, with additional product training offered periodically through outside representatives.
