Job Description

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule and plan customer deliveries/orders on a daily basis for distribution to all drivers. Receive and handle phone orders, faxes, e-mails for all deliveries to be scheduled. Coordinate delivery schedule for both day and night deliveries. Respond to the customer?s needs in a timely and professional manner to ensure complete satisfaction. Responsible to maintain lowest possible costs through proper scheduling. Responsible to maximize loaded miles to increase efficiency. Communicate with maintenance staff regarding availability of fleet equipment, PM?s, and repairs. Handle inventory control for designated customers and locations. Separate and scan paperwork to be forwarded to customers as well as review scans for remote terminals. Communicate to Billing Supervisor and General Manager any system malfunctions which affect the ability to scan. Coordinate driver access to loading terminals. Perform other related duties as assigned by President and General Manager.
