Lily Transportation is a rapidly expanding logistics and transportation company dedicated to providing exceptional service and timely delivery solutions. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Dispatcher to join our dynamic team and help us continue our growth trajectory. Someone who is a strong self-starter results driven with the desire for future career growth. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to lead, manage and develop relationships with DOT CDL drivers and increase overall driver satisfaction to improve safety and driver retention. This position will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods, maintaining clear communication with drivers, and resolving any issues that may arise during transit. The ability to stay organized, multitask, and make quick decisions will be key to success in this role. Dispatcher (DOT CDL)
Overview/Responsibilities:
Route schedule creation for DOT CDL Drivers Manage and record performance metrics for CDL drivers and customers Effectively coach professional CDL drivers Conduct weekly safety tailgate meetings Work closely with peers, CDL drivers, and customers Provide real time updates on customer loads once dispatched Maintain communication and ensure employees have adequate knowledge and resources to accomplish assigned duties Administrative work (answering phones, filing and heavy data input) Complete necessary paperwork accurately and timely to ensure an efficient, steady flow of information Order entry and billing Issue supplies & equipment keep accurate records Manage large amounts of email Additional duties as assigned Dispatcher (DOT CDL) Benefits +

Requirements:
Working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations Load planning experience preferred Transportation experiences a must with DOT CDL Drivers Must be available to work weekends Strong experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally Must be flexible and able to work extended shifts as needed TMW Suite experience a plus SAMSARA application experience a plus Must be able to read, write, and speak EnglishAt Lily, we believe people are our greatest asset.
