Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. In this vital role, you will coordinate the efficient movement of transportation vehicles, manage communication with drivers and clients, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations. Your proactive approach will help us perform reliable, safe, and timely transportation services for students and other clients. Duties Coordinate and schedule vehicle dispatches using transportation management systems and vehicle dispatch software Communicate clearly with drivers via multi-line phone systems, ensuring accurate routing and timely updates Monitor GPS Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, data entry logs, and compliance documentation Ensure adherence to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, safety standards, and internal policies during all dispatch operations Provide excellent customer service through professional phone call management, addressing inquiries with proper phone etiquette and organizational skills Qualifications Proven experience with transportation planning, logistics, or dispatching roles in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of road transportation operations, management, and vehicle dispatching software tools Familiarity with GPS, transportation management systems, and fleet management platforms Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for data entry and analysis tasks Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems effectively Knowledge of DOT regulations Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, record keeping, and internal communication processes Ability to analyze routing options quickly using analysis skills to improve efficiency Join us as a Dispatcher to be at the heart of our operations—driving efficiency, safety, and exceptional service every day!
