Position Summary Roadway Towing & Transportation is seeking an experienced and highly organized Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher plays a critical role in coordinating towing and roadside service operations, ensuring efficient communication between customers, drivers, and management while maintaining exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively multitask under pressure, and possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience as a towing, roadside service dispatcher, transportation or emergency service dispatcher. Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) Experience using two-way radio communication equipment. Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively to meet customer eta. Familiarity with relevant local laws and regulations governing impounded vehicles (training will be provided if needed. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Geographical knowledge of Miami Dade and Broward County Knowledge of the towing industry or 911 dispatching experience Ability to assist customers with their needs Previous related experience is advantageous. Must successfully pass a background check, as well as pre-employment and random drug screenings. 911 dispatch experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate towing requests and dispatch drivers efficiently to ensure timely service. Manage communication between drivers, clients, and other stakeholders using phone systems and transportation management software. Monitor fleet operations to optimize routes and reduce response times. Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and service requests for reporting purposes. Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement in service delivery. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
