Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for directing and leading the work of the Tank Wagon and Transport Dispatchers for Seminole Petroleum, while ensuring that the production goals of the personnel are met. The individual directs activities related to dispatching, routing, or tracking transport and tank wagon drivers and vehicles. The role requires a variety of complex tasks and is ultimately responsible for driving work in the field through a force dispatch process.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree is required. A minimum of five (5) years dispatch experience in the use of computer dispatch monitoring software, two-way radio, dispatch operations, and emergency operations, including response, including two (2) years of supervisory experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's license is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages including advance skills using excel features and formulas (formulas, pivot tables, data validation). Ability to drive and travel nationally, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays are requirements for this job.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work involves detailed concentration for long periods of time in a modified office environment. There is frequent need to sit, talk or hear, use hands to finger and type, close and color vision required during the course of the workday. There may be occasional need for light lifting. Driving a company vehicle is required.WORKING CONDITIONS
Typically the incumbent works in a clean, air conditioned office environment with little noise. When working outdoors, the individual must be prepared to walk through construction sites on undeveloped and unclear land and may be exposed to South Florida region weather conditions including extreme heat, humidity, dust, rain, mud and other inclement weather typical of this area. ____________Job Type:
