Responsibilities Manage daily dispatching activities for freight and vehicle movements, ensuring adherence to schedules and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Utilize transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and Vehicle Dispatch Software to plan routes, track shipments, and optimize fleet operations Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers via multi-line phone systems and internal communication channels to facilitate smooth operations Monitor GPS and GIS technologies to track vehicle locations, analyze routes, and improve transportation efficiency Oversee shipping & receiving processes, including freight documentation, data entry, and shipment status updates in logistics platforms like SyteLine or similar ERP systems Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies during all dispatch activities Lead internal communication efforts to relay critical updates, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high levels of customer service through effective phone call management and professional phone etiquette Requirements Proven experience in road transportation operations, logistics, or supply chain management with a focus on dispatching or fleet management Strong knowledge of transportation planning tools such as

GIS, GPS
