Full-time On-site Day shift About the role: We're looking for a construction experienced Driver Dispatcher to plan and dispatch daily moves of dump trucks, lowboys/equipment haulers to active job sites. You'll be the hub between project teams, shop/maintenance, and drivers—keeping us on schedule and in full
GA DOT/FMCSA
compliance . A CDL (A or B) is a strong plus . What you'll do: 1) Daily Dispatch & Routing Build next-day and same-day dispatch schedules for multiple crews and jobs. Assign drivers, units, trailers, and attachments; sequence loads for paving, milling, grading, and utility work. Optimize routes for time, fuel, and job start windows; adjust for weather, traffic, and site constraints. Pre-run route if necessary. 2)
GA DOT / FMCSA
Compliance Monitor HOS , pre/post-trip DVIRs Ensure annual updates are completed Maintain accurate trip tickets, BOLs, scale tickets, and chain-of-custody docs. 3) Field Coordination Communicate with Supers/PMs on site access, laydown, crane/paver windows, and safety rules. Track real-time status (depart/on-site/empty), resolve issues, and keep stakeholders updated. Partner with the shop on PM/repairs so units are available and compliant.
What you bring:
2+ years dispatching in heavy civil construction (paving, grading, utilities, or heavy haul). Working knowledge of GA DOT regulations and FMCSA basics (HOS, ELD, DVIR, permits). Comfortable with Samsara or similar GPS/telematics and dispatch tools Strong communicator; calm under pressure; decisive with competing priorities.
Bonus:
Active CDL-A or CDL-B ; prior lowboy/equipment-hauling experience.
