In this role, you will coordinate the scheduling, routing, delivery, and pickup of event rental equipment for weddings, concerts, festivals, sporting events, corporate gatherings, and other special events throughout Idaho. You will serve as the main point of communication between customers, drivers, delivery crews, warehouse staff, and management. Your ability to stay organized, communicate clearly, and solve problems quickly will directly contribute to the success of each event. Responsibilities Schedule and dispatch drivers and delivery crews for event equipment deliveries and pickups. Plan and optimize delivery routes for efficiency, accuracy, and on-time service. Use GPS tracking, dispatch systems, and company software to monitor delivery progress. Communicate schedules, route information, order details, and updates to drivers and delivery teams. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure orders are prepared, loaded, delivered, and picked up correctly. Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery times, pickup schedules, and order updates. Monitor deliveries and pickups in real time and adjust schedules when needed. Respond quickly to traffic delays, schedule changes, customer requests, and unexpected equipment needs. Verify delivery addresses, contact information, event timelines, and special instructions. Maintain accurate delivery, pickup, and dispatch records. Assist drivers and crews with questions or concerns while they are in the field. Work closely with customer service, warehouse, and management teams to support smooth daily operations. Help identify ways to improve routing, communication, scheduling, and overall efficiency. Qualifications Previous experience in dispatch, transportation, logistics, route planning, delivery coordination, customer service, warehouse operations, or event services is a plus. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy. Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Comfortable communicating with customers, drivers, warehouse employees, and management. Basic computer and data-entry skills. Ability to learn dispatch software, GPS tracking tools, routing systems, and order-management software. Reliable, resourceful, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
