This role is responsible for coordinating drivers, monitoring routes, communicating with customers, and ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time. We are currently hiring a 1st shift dispatcher. If you have experience in transportation dispatching, logistics coordination, or fleet operations , we encourage you to apply. Dispatchers play a critical role in supporting drivers, resolving real-time issues, and maintaining efficient transportation operations. Available Schedules First Shift Dispatcher Sunday-Wednesday 2am-2pm Key Responsibilities Dispatch drivers and coordinate transportation schedules based on customer needs and operational priorities Monitor routes, traffic conditions, and service schedules to ensure on-time performance Communicate with drivers regarding load assignments, delays, route changes, or operational issues Track driver logs and Hours of Service (HOS) to ensure DOT compliance Respond to customer inquiries regarding deliveries, pickups, or scheduling updates Maintain accurate dispatch records and update transportation management systems Work closely with drivers, warehouse teams, and operations staff to maintain efficient logistics operations Troubleshoot issues such as delays, breakdowns, or scheduling conflicts in real time Prepare shift reports and communicate operational updates to management Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of transportation dispatching, logistics, or fleet coordination experience preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced transportation environment Experience using dispatch software or fleet management systems (TMW, Samsara, Fleetmatics, etc.) Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service rules is a plus Ability to work scheduled shift including weekends or holidays when needed Work Environment Office-based dispatch operations center Fast-paced logistics environment requiring strong attention to detail Frequent communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
