Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented LW 210 Transportation Dispatcher/Trip Coordinator to coordinate and manage the efficient movement of students within our transportation network. In this vital role, you will serve as the central communication hub, ensuring seamless dispatching, tracking, and scheduling of routes and extracurricular trips. Your expertise in transportation management systems, GPS technology, and logistics will drive operational excellence, optimize routes, and enhance customer satisfaction. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact! Duties 1. Directly supervises drivers. 2. Annually constructs bus routes that are efficient and represent the needs of the district. 3. Assists in the assignment of drivers to routes via the bidding process as defined in the LWESP collective bargaining agreement. 4. Coordinates and oversees the completion of bus evacuations. 5. Construct and maintain the daily log of substitute drivers. 6. Assigns substitute drivers to routes as necessary. 7. Construct summer school routes. 8. Responds to client needs/emergencies. 9. Answers the phone. 10. Verifies and approves driver time sheets. 11. Accurately maintains required state records. 12. Assigns extra-curricular trips/field trips in accordance with the LWESP collective bargaining agreement. 13. Participates in monthly staff meetings. 14. Reports directly to the Director of Transportation and meet regularly with all dispatchers and the director. 15. Must be prepared to drive a bus at any moment. 16. Other duties as assigned by the superintendent or designee.
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hourBenefits:
