Job Description
Job Overview SCR Towing & Recovery is looking to add a dependable dispatcher to the team to keep our drivers moving and our day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Duties:
Answering phone calls and obtaining the necessary information to efficiently dispatch our drivers and equipment to the scene Dispatch calls to drivers based on location, availability, urgency, and equipment Monitor drivers and active calls throughout the shift and adjust the schedule as new calls come in Communicate with customers regarding ETAs, pricing, delays, and service updates Coordinate calls with police departments, repair shops, dealerships, insurance companies, motor clubs, and other accounts Enter and update calls accurately in the dispatch system (Towbook) Help drivers troubleshoot issues that come up while they're on a call Handle multiple phone lines and service requests at the same time Take payments and accurately document completed calls when needed Keep track of pending calls and communicate important information during shift changes Assist with other day-to-day office and towing operations as neededSkills/Requirements:
Candidates should have proficient skills with a computer, as well as the ability to multitask. Experience is encouraged but not necessary as we will train the correct candidate.Compensation:
Pay will be based on experience and your ability to grow and handle the duties of the position, beginning at a base pay $50,000 per year. Candidates with class C drivers licenses, or those willing to obtain one, will be compensated at higher rate.Pay:
