$20-$21 per hour (Full Time) Skills needed: Office Work, Light Computer Skills, Light Warehouse / Forklift work Job Summary Accelerated, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the movement of freight, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries while maintaining exceptional communication with drivers, clients, and internal teams. You will manage schedules, route planning, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during transit. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of logistics, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Plan and optimize delivery routes for drivers to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods. Serve as the primary point of contact between drivers, customers, and the logistics team, facilitating clear and timely communication. Track vehicle locations and monitor the status of deliveries using dispatch software and GPS systems. Address any issues that arise during transportation, including delays, accidents, or equipment malfunctions, and implement solutions quickly. Create and maintain schedules for drivers, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance with hours-of-service regulations. Confirm with Dock Supervisor all warehouse members have documented damages incurred during travel on inbound manifest so the information may be entered in DataTrac. If there is no Dock Supervisor on duty, Dispatchers are to confirm information with dock worker individually. Respond to customer inquiries and concerns regarding deliveries, providing updates and resolving any issues to maintain high satisfaction levels. Understand how to operate, use, and train new drivers and staff on internal driver app; Datatrac for Drivers. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all necessary paperwork, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and regulatory documents. Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and safety standards. Communicate call outs from dock workers and drivers to Management and HR. Evaluate driver performance and provide feedback to improve efficiency and service quality. Work closely with other departments, such as inventory and warehousing, to streamline operations and enhance service delivery. Various other clerical duties. Qualifications 1-year dispatch experience required 1-year forklift experience required Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with drivers, customers, and team members. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in scheduling and compliance with regulations. Familiarity with dispatch software, GPS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new technologies quickly. Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to build positive relationships with drivers and customers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
