Position Overview As a Dispatch Specialist, you are the vital link between our customers, drivers, and operations. Your quick thinking and attention to detail ensure smooth scheduling, efficient delivery, and outstanding service. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule drivers for timely pick-ups and deliveries Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and requests Monitor transportation routes and proactively resolve logistical challenges Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and service Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and schedules Support process improvements and help drive operational excellence Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; relevant college coursework is a plus Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, or customer service preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Comfort with technology and dispatch management systems Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Work Requirements Flexible availability, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed Capable of working in a fast-paced office environment Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer/phone throughout the shift Work Environment We foster a supportive, inclusive, and energetic workplace where your contributions are valued.
