Job Description
Tow truck dispatchers have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include: Communicate with tow truck operators to provide instructions on location of vehicles and other pertinent information Organizing the dispatch schedule to ensure that all tow trucks are staffed with qualified drivers on time Monitor the location of tow trucks using GPS or other tracking systems to ensure that they are on the way to the scene of an accident or other incident as scheduled Keep customers informed on the status of their tow Generate invoices and collect payment Data Entry and basic admin duties
