MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Receive calls, maintain and log information and requests in order to disseminate information to appropriate staff and ensure efficient operations. Dispatch crew to assigned locations for requested equipment needed for event setup. Follow up on the completion of requests and relay any issues to event management. Maintain file log of all calls and injury reports. Process labor on a daily basis by checking in MCCNO employees and contract employees ensuring adequate shift coverage. Monitor time sheets for discrepancies. Ensure contracted employees are biometrically enrolled in time-keeping system. Ensure that daily time sheets are submitted to People Services in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure that all incoming staff reports to the appropriate supervisor and work area in a timely manner. Assist Facility Operations staff with routine and non-routine tasks as directed. Maintain record of departmental key holder. Maintain office supply inventory and ensure that the staff have access to needed supplies at all times. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Other Skills and Abilities Prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, perform under minimal supervision and work irregular/extended hours as necessary including nights, weekends and holidays. Maintain a high emphasis on customer service and possess excellent communication skills. Experience Required one to two years related experience and/or training in housekeeping and set-ups in a convention, hotel and/or large multi-purpose facility or equivalent combination of education and experience.
