Dispatcher Waste Connections $18.50 - $19.50 / hr 401(k) United States, Louisiana, Rayne Sep 01, 2026 Join our team in Rayne, LA as a Dispatcher! In this fast paced role, you'll be the vital connection between our customers, drivers, and operations team. You'll coordinate commercial and roll off service requests, dispatch work orders, troubleshoot service issues, and help keep daily operations running smoothly. Pay Range:

$18.50-$19.50 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

What You'll Do:

Provide exceptional customer service by answering incoming calls, emails, and inquiries regarding service requests, account changes, billing questions, and service issues. Establish, update, and cancel customer accounts, process payments, maintain accurate records, and perform data entry within company systems. Schedule, dispatch, route, and reroute work orders to drivers based on operational needs and customer requirements. Investigate missed pickups and coordinate timely service recovery to ensure customer satisfaction. Communicate with drivers, supervisors, and other departments to resolve operational issues and ensure efficient service delivery. Utilize dispatch, routing, and customer management software to monitor daily operations, manage work orders, and meet time sensitive deadlines.

Qualifications:

Previous dispatch, customer service, transportation, logistics, or waste industry experience preferred. Proficiency withMS Word,Excel, andemail systemspreferred Strong typing and10-key skillsrequired Excellent organizational and communication abilities Strongproblem-solving skillswith the ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
