What You'll Do as a Dispatcher Your day-to-day responsibilities will include tasks that require quick thinking, strong communication, and a knack for organization. • Answer and manage multi-line phone systems and digital dispatch requests from stranded motorists, law enforcement, motor clubs, and commercial clients.
• Dispatch appropriate equipment —from flatbeds to heavy-duty wreckers—based on the vehicle type and situation.
• Coordinate with drivers using GPS dispatch software to assign the closest available truck and optimize routes.
• Monitor active calls and maintain communication with drivers to ensure smooth operations.
• Document critical information such as customer details, call specifics, timestamps, and incident reports using dispatch software like Towbook.
• Schedule and coordinate vehicle transports and equipment hauling for commercial and private accounts.
• Maintain professionalism and composure while handling high-volume calls and time-sensitive situations. What You'll Need to Succeed We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle the demands of this critical role. Here's what we're seeking:
