Responsibilities Manage incoming calls via multi-line phone systems, providing clear and professional communication with customers, drivers, and emergency responders. Utilize vehicle dispatch software and transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and Vehicle Dispatch Software to assign jobs accurately and efficiently. Coordinate with roadside assistance teams, tow truck drivers, and third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure prompt vehicle recovery and roadside support. Track and update job statuses using

GPS, GIS

(Geographic Information Systems), and real-time data entry tools to optimize routes and response times. Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, including call logs, incident reports, freight details, and compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate internally with team members through internal communication channels to facilitate smooth operations across departments like shipping & receiving, fleet management, and logistics. Monitor fleet availability, vehicle locations, and supply chain logistics to ensure seamless transportation planning aligned with company standards. Qualifications Proven experience in dispatching within road transportation operations or logistics environments. Strong familiarity with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or Vehicle Dispatch Software. Knowledge of

GIS, GPS

technology, DOT regulations, and transportation planning principles. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for data entry, analysis, and reporting purposes. Exceptional communication skills with phone etiquette expertise for handling diverse customer interactions. Ability to work effectively within multi-line phone systems and coordinate internal communication channels. Experience with freight management, shipping & receiving procedures, fleet management practices, and 3PL logistics solutions is preferred.
