— Mon - Fri 8:00a - 5:00p Vinny's Towing (Frederick, MD) Got a lead foot for logic and a knack for keeping cool when the phone won't stop ringing? We need to talk. Vinny's Towing is looking for a Day Shift Dispatcher to be the voice, the brain, and the traffic controller behind our fleet. You won't be turning a wrench or hooking a bumper — you'll be running the show that keeps our drivers moving and our customers calm. If you thrive on multitasking, love solving problems on the fly, and can juggle a radio, a phone, and a map without breaking a sweat, this seat's got your name on it.

$19-$21/hr

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00

PM Location:

Frederick, MD What You'll Be Doing Answering calls from stranded drivers, panicked customers, and law enforcement — and making every one of them feel like they just caught a break Dispatching tow trucks in real time, routing drivers efficiently based on location, priority, and traffic Tracking jobs from the first ring to the final tow, keeping accurate records the whole way Communicating clearly and quickly with drivers over radio and phone Juggling multiple calls and jobs at once without dropping the ball — or your cool Being the calm, organized voice on the other end of a very bad day for someone else What You Bring Strong communication skills — you can talk to anyone, from a stressed-out driver to a state trooper, and keep it professional Comfort with multitasking under pressure; this is not a slow-and-steady kind of job Basic computer skills and the ability to learn dispatch software quickly A sense of direction and comfort reading maps/GPS systems Reliability — we need someone who shows up, on time, every time Prior dispatch, customer service, or towing/transportation industry experience is a plus, but not required — we'll train the right person Why Vinny's Towing We're a tight-knit, hardworking crew that treats our team like family and our customers like neighbors — because a lot of the time, they are.
