$21.50 - $25.00 per hour About Horizon Logistics Horizon Logistics is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) proudly serving the Williamsport community. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dispatcher to oversee the day-to-day operations of our delivery team in Williamsport, MD 21795. The Dispatchers will be responsible for managing a team of drivers and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages to Amazon customers.

The Role :

Motivate and lead a team of delivery drivers using mobile apps, excel, word, and custom apps for logistics business. Focus on the best customer experience while delivering packages safely. Safety is our #1 priority, keeping our team, the roads, the packages, and the vans safe.

Ensure our teams have the correct number of vehicles to support the number of routes on any given day. Helping teams identify and systematically track compliance needs to maintain safe and reliable operations This position requires exceptional communication and organizational skills. Be conformable working with computers and phone applications. You should have more than 2 years of experience as an amazon Driver.

Comfortable leading and supporting a team of 50+ people Excellent problem-resolution skills Manage well-planned safety and compliance programs Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient with Excel and analyzing numbers/data Organized and detailed oriented The following represents a typical day : Review route commitments and inventory vehicles to determine proper vehicle allocations, including the ability to order and return rental vehicles as required, and ensure vehicles are available Champion team compliance with all vehicle inspection safety requirements Coordinate with team members to facilitate the movement of vehicles to/from repair shops and cleaning facilities Monitor performance metrics and participate in meetings with team members to celebrate performance attainment, highlight performance inefficiencies, and rectify root causes for violations and negative customer impact scenarios Ensure team adherence to DVCR Pre and Post-trip inspection and update applicable systems and logs Debrief with team members to close out the day.

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, logistics, or related field Minimum of 2 years of experience as an amazon delivery associate. Strong leadership and communication skills Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance metrics Knowledge of delivery operations, logistics, and inventory management Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
