Immediately Job DescriptionTRANSPORTATION DISPATCHER
The Gorham School Department has an opening for a Dispatcher to assist in the dispatching of bus drivers to ensure safe, timely transportation of students and assist in the development and maintenance of bus routes.Duties and responsibilities include:
- Maintaining bus routes and managing bus routing software
- Coordinating communication between the transportation office and school administrative assistants to ensure the safe transportation of all students to school and home again daily
- Maintain constant communication with bus drivers via two-way radio
- Assist in daily communications required to operate the transportation program.
- Assist in coordination of meetings with drivers
- Perform such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities that may be assigned.
