Agri-Cycle, New England's largest and fastest-growing food waste collection company, is looking to fill one full-time Dispatcher role. We pride ourselves on providing superior service for our customers while maximizing the efficiency of our operation. The ability to communicate effectively, multitask, and handle emergencies with a level-head are all expectations of this role. Agri-Cycle is a fast-growing family business where quality work and willingness to learn are recognized & rewarded. The successful candidate will serve as a central point of contact for both internal and external communication regarding our trucking operation. Job Responsibilities Answering and responding to inbound calls from company drivers Handling inbound and outbound customer phone calls as needed Manage and coordinate resources, ensuring efficient and effective responses Receiving and relaying information to field personnel Daily monitoring of all company trucking routes in multiple terminals Updating information systems to accurately reflect dispatched tasks Coordinating with operations team to perform emergency roll-off and trailer services Coordinating inbound load schedule with Long Haul Team Gathering documentation of completed services and seeing-through to final billing Interfacing with terminal managers & office staff on day-to-day issues. Scheduling & coordinating deliveries and shipments of various customer supplies Manage records of material inventory at customer sites and internal warehousing
Requirements:
Experience and proficiency in standard logistics software. Prior experience in a trucking dispatch role preferred Emphasis on customer service. Time management skills. Exceptional analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with customers & employees
