We are actively seeking a part-time dispatcher for St. Joseph County Transportation Authority. Applicants must have excellent customer service skills and excellent computer skills. You will be scheduling rides based on information you gather from passenger phone calls, emails and referrals. A successful candidate will be a team player and have a positive attitude and an eye for detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high level of accuracy and must be available for an occasional Saturday. Candidates with a Chauffer license are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

Create and manage transportation schedules. Must be comfortable with a computer and its programs. Must be willing to learn and work as a team. Be detail-oriented, excellent communication skills. Must be able to work well with others. Must be reliable as driver support. Ability to use a multiple line office phone, two-way radio and cell phone. Ability to maintain confidential information. Attend meetings as required.
