Job Description
Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM (Required to participate in an on-call rotation one weekend per month) Magnum is hiring a Dispatcher to support daily transportation operations by coordinating drivers, equipment, and freight to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time deliveries. This role plays a key part in driver utilization, compliance, and customer satisfaction. What You'll Do As a Dispatcher, you will help manage daily operations and ensure freight moves efficiently through the network. Coordinate and dispatch drivers, trucks, and equipment to maximize productivity and service levels Communicate with drivers and assign loads based on customer needs and operational priorities Enter and maintain accurate load and shipment information in the system Monitor and review driver logs and bills of lading to ensure accuracy and compliance Ensure compliance with Hours of Service (HOS), FMCSA regulations, and company policies Process and audit driver payroll and trip data Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams regarding delays, issues, or updates Submit required documentation to Billing for accurate invoicing Participate in operational and safety meetings Provide constructive feedback and coaching to drivers as needed Required to participate in an on-call rotation one weekend per month Assist with projects and perform additional duties to support operations This is a full-time position with a complete benefits package, including: Health Insurance with HSA/FSA Options Company Paid Life Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
