Job Summary Join our dynamic delivery company and transportation team as a DSP Dispatcher/Fleet Management professional! In this vital role, you will coordinate and oversee the efficient dispatching of freight and vehicles, ensuring seamless road transportation operations. Your expertise in fleet management, logistics, and transportation planning will drive our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations. This energetic position offers the opportunity to utilize your organizational skills, analysis capabilities, and communication talents to keep our supply chain moving smoothly and effectively. Duties Manage vehicle dispatching using transportation management systems and vehicle dispatch software to assign freight loads efficiently. Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams through multi-line phone systems and internal communication channels to facilitate timely pickups and deliveries. Monitor GPS and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) data to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure adherence to transportation planning strategies. Maintain accurate data entry related to shipments, vehicle status, and driver logs while utilizing Microsoft Office tools for reporting purposes. Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations by overseeing driver hours of service, safety protocols, and shipping & receiving procedures. Communicate proactively with customers regarding freight status, delivery schedules, and potential delays via phone call management and professional phone etiquette. Conduct analysis of logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvements in road transportation operations and fleet management. Qualifications Proven experience in transportation planning, dispatching, or fleet management within a logistics or supply chain environment. Strong knowledge of transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or similar platforms. Familiarity with
