Job Description

Position Summary The Security Dispatcher serves as the central communication and coordination point for the Security Department at One and Only Moonlight Basin. The Dispatcher receives and prioritizes calls for service, deploys Security Officers, monitors security systems, maintains accurate activity records, and supports the coordination of routine and emergency responses across the property. This position requires strong situational awareness, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Essential Responsibilities Receive, prioritize, and document Security calls, radio traffic, alarms, and requests for assistance. Dispatch Security Officers and maintain awareness of officer locations, assignments, and status. Monitor CCTV, access control, alarm, and other security and life-safety systems. Maintain accurate event logs, incident timelines, and records of Security activity. Coordinate responses to medical emergencies, fire alarms, disturbances, suspicious activity, lost persons, wildlife incidents, severe weather, power outages, and other emergencies. Contact and coordinate with law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other emergency services as necessary. Promptly communicate significant incidents and developing situations to Security leadership. Provide responding officers with available CCTV observations and other relevant information. Coordinate Security-related communications with resort departments and operational leadership. Maintain awareness of weather, wildfire, road, and mountain conditions that may impact resort operations or emergency response. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding guests, residents, employees, incidents, investigations, and Security operations. Provide professional, calm, and discreet service consistent with luxury hospitality standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong verbal, written, telephone, and radio communication skills. Strong computer, documentation, and data-entry skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple incidents in a high-pressure environment. Strong attention to detail, organization, situational awareness, sound judgment, and confidentiality. Availability to work varied shifts, weekends, holidays, and during emergency operations.
Preferred:
Previous experience in security, dispatch, emergency communications, public safety, or luxury hospitality. Experience with CCTV, access control, alarm, or incident-reporting systems is preferred. Key Competencies Situational Awareness
