Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Ambulance Night Dispatcher. As a Ambulance Night Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and dispatching resources afterhours to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and prioritize incoming calls from Hospitals, Nursing Homes, and Patients
• Must be able to work as part of a diverse team, able to work with and without supervision
• Must be proficient in the use of computers, familiar with CAD systems
• Able to make critical decisions by yourself
• Communicate effectively and professionally with all parties involved
• Transcribe accurate and detailed information from phone calls into Dispatch Software
• Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain records
• Must be able to work on night shifts and weekend shifts
• Dispatch appropriate resources based on the nature of the request or emergency
• Must be able to answer multi-line emergency and non-emergency calls while dispatching
• Monitor field personnel activities and provide support as needed

Qualifications:

• Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills
• Ability to analyze information quickly and make informed decisions
• Proficient in data entry and computer systems
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• High school diploma
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
