Job Description
We are looking for a Dispatcher to join a team in Wilmington, Massachusetts for a Long-term Contract opportunity. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, stays organized under pressure, and communicates clearly with both customers and internal teams. The right candidate will help coordinate daily activity, keep schedules on track, and ensure information is shared accurately and promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily dispatch activity by assigning work, adjusting schedules, and keeping operations running efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date communication with team members to ensure priorities, timing, and service needs are clearly understood.
- Respond to incoming calls and service requests with professionalism while gathering accurate details for proper routing.
- Organize schedules and logistics to support timely coverage and efficient use of available resources.
- Monitor changes throughout the day and make quick decisions to resolve conflicts, delays, or urgent requests.
- Enter and update dispatch-related information in computer-based systems with a high level of accuracy.
- Provide strong customer support by sharing status updates and addressing questions in a clear and helpful manner.
