Job Description for Dispatcher Dispatch trucks, manage orders and provide administrative support for yard operations, answer phone calls, handling correspondence, maintaining filing systems, ordering office supplies, and coordinating delivery arrangements, essentially acting as the primary point of contact for customers and delivery drivers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities may include:
Calendar management: Scheduling appointments, meetings. Communication:
Answering phone calls, directing inquiries, and responding to emails. Document preparation: Drafting shipping documents, tallies and receiving reports. Visual Verification of materials shipped/received. File management: Maintaining organized filing systems, both physical and digital Office administration: Ordering office supplies, managing inventory, and coordinating maintenance Inventory management Meeting support: Preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing meeting materials Data entry: Updating spreadsheets and databases with relevant information Reception duties: Greeting visitors and directing them accordingly Expense reporting: Tracking and submitting expense reports Assisting with project management tasks Preparing invoices and handling basic accounting duties Providing administrative support to multiple departments Providing weekend or after-hours support when necessary.Required skills:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational and time management abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Detail-oriented and ability to multitask effectively Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive informationBenefits:
