This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines. Monitor driver routes and provide real-time updates to ensure smooth operations. Communicate with customers regarding delivery status, changes, or issues. Address and resolve any on-the-road challenges, including delays or reroutes. Maintain accurate records of dispatch logs, driver hours, and load details. Collaborate with the operations team to maximize fleet utilization. Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and safety guidelines. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience as a dispatcher in the trucking or logistics industry preferred . Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
