We are seeking for an experienced Drayage Dispatcher to join our team in Linden, NJ. In this role, you'll coordinate the pickup and delivery of ocean containers from NY/NJ ports. The ideal candidate has a strong background in dispatching drayage trucks, understands port operations, and can thrive in a time-sensitive logistics environment.

Responsibilities:

Dispatch drivers to and from NY/NJ ports Track trucks and containers using GPS and transportation management systems Optimize delivery schedules and routes for maximum efficiency Maintain constant communication with drivers, terminals, and customers Accurately complete data entry tasks Provide outstanding customer service and maintain professional phone etiquette

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience dispatching trucks for drayage at NY/NJ ports Proficient with TMS and GPS tools Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

MUST ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH & SPANISH.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Experience with fleet management Salary is discussed upon interview and depends on experience.

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
