Leading regional transportation and logistics provider has opening for an overnight dispatcher in there South Jersey Facility. Experience in dispatching in the transportation industry is required. 3rd shifts position10:00 pm

• 6:30am Sun-Thur and one weekend a month.

This role will require a unique candidate who can function in multiple capacities and follow multiple projects through to completion.

Day-to-day responsibilities/qualifications are:

• Monitoring / managing drivers via the operating/dispatch platform
• assuring compliance with scanning, entering POD's and predetermined delivery windows
• Interacting with customers
• both internal and external at all levels
• Basic geographic knowledge of the NJ and PA area with the capability to dynamically route and schedule deliveries in a manner that makes sense for organization and customer
• Highly organized and detail oriented

• MUST HAVE DISPATCH EXPERIENCE IN LOGISTICS INDUSTRY

• Technical ability / understanding
• intermediate understanding/knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications. Understanding of Xcelerator dispatch module a plus.
• Ability to perform all day-to-day administrative office functions
• gathering of paperwork, filing, etc.
