Job Description
Job Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Night Shift Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and services, ensuring that all logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires someone who is professional, highly motivated and is a self-starter. Excellent communication skills are a must. This is an in-person position, and it will require some on call hours as needed.Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact for drivers, providing load assignments, schedules, and route updates. Plan and dispatch tanker truck loads around dairy farm milking schedules and plant scheduling. Must be proactive. Track driver GPS locations and delivery performance. Manage route changes, weather delays, and service recovery to maintain on-time deliveries. Answer phone calls, text messages and emails promptly and efficiently. Ensure accurate data entry of loads (pickup and delivery locations, appointment times, driver assignment, etc.).Qualifications:
Experience in dispatch, transportation coordination, or fleet management (dairy or food-grade tanker required). Knowledge of trucking regulations, Hours of Service rules, and load scheduling. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office; TMS experience is a plus.Benefits:
