Job Description

Position Summary The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the daily service schedule to maximize technician efficiency, revenue per call, and customer satisfaction. This role is the control center of the service department—balancing urgency, geography, technician skill sets, and profitability while ensuring a seamless experience for both customers and field technicians. Key Responsibilities Scheduling & Dispatching Schedule and dispatch service calls using ServiceTitan. Optimize routes to minimize drive time and maximize billable hours. Match technicians to jobs based on skill set, availability, and job type. Adjust schedules in real-time to maintain efficiency. The following are the core processes and KPI's for Dispatch.
  • Dispatch Technicians from home-Confirm first call the night before. Ensure that technicians have the parts they need for first job the day before
  • Confirm customer is home and give the customer a minimum of twenty minutes notice before dispatching technician
  • Dispatch one job at a time-exception first call of the day
  • FORCE the debrief on every job.
  • Only the service manager or owner can close the board
  • Ensure that technicians know what parts they need and location before heading to job Work Schedule Full-time position, typically Monday-Friday with occasional after-hours support.
Required Qualifications 2+ years dispatching or service coordination experience preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to make quick decisions under pressure and coordinate large amounts of people and information at once. Excellent communication skills. Computer proficiency including ServiceTitan, Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Excel. Proficient in task management software like Asana, Monday etc. Must be able to handle a high paced, high stress environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or home services. Experience with ServiceTitan. Understanding of dispatch optimization and routing. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Performance incentives tied to KPIs. $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
