Job Description
Position Summary The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the daily service schedule to maximize technician efficiency, revenue per call, and customer satisfaction. This role is the control center of the service department—balancing urgency, geography, technician skill sets, and profitability while ensuring a seamless experience for both customers and field technicians. Key Responsibilities Scheduling & Dispatching Schedule and dispatch service calls using ServiceTitan. Optimize routes to minimize drive time and maximize billable hours. Match technicians to jobs based on skill set, availability, and job type. Adjust schedules in real-time to maintain efficiency. The following are the core processes and KPI's for Dispatch.
- Dispatch Technicians from home-Confirm first call the night before. Ensure that technicians have the parts they need for first job the day before
- Confirm customer is home and give the customer a minimum of twenty minutes notice before dispatching technician
- Dispatch one job at a time-exception first call of the day
- FORCE the debrief on every job.
- Only the service manager or owner can close the board
- Ensure that technicians know what parts they need and location before heading to job Work Schedule Full-time position, typically Monday-Friday with occasional after-hours support.
