Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Receive, unload, inspect and verify incoming deliveries for accuracy, quantity, and condition against purchase orders, invoices, and packing slipsReport and document discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the appropriate supervisor and vendor, and process returns and reorders as neededVerify pricing and item codes and enter receiving data into the purchasing system accurately and promptlySort, label, and stock received goods in designated locations, maintaining organized and accessible storage. Rotate food and beverages using FIFO methodOperate material-handling equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts) safely to move goodsMaintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the receiving dock and storage areas in compliance with company and regulatory standardsProperly handle and store perishable, hazardous, or high-value itemsAssist with preparing and loading outgoing shipments, transfers, or returns as neededAssist with monthly inventory counts and documentation to maintain accurate records Generate purchase orders or requisitions for stock replenishment based on par levels and usage trendsObtain and compare vendor quotes/pricing to support cost-effective purchasing decisionsTrack open purchase orders and receivers and address with corporate and property managementFollow up with vendors on order status, delays, or changes in delivery schedules, or back-ordersWork with corporate team to update and maintain vendor and item information in the purchasing systemAssist in evaluating vendor performance (pricing, reliability, quality) and recommend alternate suppliers when needed
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
Must be fluent in English and have good verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to push or pull up to 100 poundsPrevious Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook software experience preferredA valid Nevada Driver's License with an acceptable driving recordHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experience requiredPrevious work experience in warehouse, receiving and food purchasing is desiredIdentification that establishes identityIdentification that establishes the right to work in the United States
