Job Description

WE Transport Inc. Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service to parents, school district personnel, drivers, monitors and the public while handling questions Greet visitors, employees, and customers in a welcoming and professional manner while maintaining a positive office environment. Dispatching drivers and monitors for school routes, transit routes and paratransit Monitor daily route coverage and make real-time operational decisions to address call-outs, delays, breakdowns, or emergency situations in a professional and efficient manner. Utilize telephones, two-way radios, email, and dispatch software to communicate effectively with staff and customers. Demonstrate reliability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Work closely with supervisors and management to resolve operational issues and ensure continuity of service. Prepare and maintain daily schedules, route information, reports, and other operational documentation. Maintain accurate records including school calendars, paratransit records and operational logs. Utilize computer systems and programs efficiently, including Microsoft Office, email systems, routing software, and other transportation software Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee or student information. Perform other duties as assigned. Must acquire CDL within six (6) months of hire. Qualifications One (1) year of transportation, dispatch, logistics, or customer service experience preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations. Reliable attendance and punctuality required. Proficient computer skills and ability to learn transportation software systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
