Job Summary Service Dispatcher We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Service Dispatcher to join our Service Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating repair orders, scheduling work to technicians, and helping ensure a smooth workflow throughout the shop.

Responsibilities:

Dispatch service work to technicians based on skill set and availability Communicate job status updates to service advisors and management Monitor and manage shop capacity to maximize efficiency and productivity Prioritize work orders to meet customer deadlines and shop goals Maintain accurate logs and records of repairs, technician time, and job progress Assist with resolving scheduling conflicts or delays Collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of parts Support overall customer satisfaction by minimizing wait times and improving service flow

Requirements:

Previous experience as a service dispatcher or in a similar role (preferred) Knowledge of automotive repair operations and shop flow Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with scheduling software and dealership management systems High school diploma or equivalent (required)
