Team members join a stable, growth-oriented company with a strong commitment to service and community. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dispatcher role in Dayton, Ohio. The Dispatcher coordinates daily routes and assignments for drivers, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries in line with customer requirements. Responsibilities include monitoring driver locations, updating schedules, and communicating changes, delays, or special instructions. The role involves frequent interaction with customers to confirm orders, resolve service issues, and provide status updates. The Dispatcher also maintains accurate records in dispatch systems, supports compliance with company policies and safety standards, and collaborates with operations staff to optimize efficiency and service quality. Qualifications Experience in dispatching, transportation, logistics coordination, or a similar operations role. Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple calls and requests. Proficiency with computer systems, dispatch software, and basic data entry. Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions under time pressure. Knowledge of regional geography and basic transportation regulations is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent; further education or logistics-related training is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support 24/7 operations.
