Job Description

DSI Bulk Transport is a private, family-owned leader in the Bulk Commodity Transport Industry, operating over 50 Company owned trucks that run east of the Mississippi River. DSI focuses on our outstanding

Service, delivered by dedicated and safe DRIVERS, utilizing well-maintained
EQUIPMENT
to drive our success. Position Summary This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all Dry Bulk Tanker freight and Hopper freight within an assigned area. Operationally responsible to procure freight, coordinate incident free pickup/delivery, reaffirm proper paperwork submission for accurate invoicing and driver pay. Operations Department:
Communicate and coordinate directly with customers to service tendered shipments Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries relative to available capacity and resources Point of Contact for all Drivers. Manage delivery schedule, paperwork submission, routing, Etc. Responsible for Driver; Compliance, Safety, Maintenance and Billing procedure reinforcements Ensure contamination-free delivery service through administering company dispatch procedures Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts Solicit freight from customers Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team members Create and plan orders in planning schedules and dispatch system in coordination with team members Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members On-call duties as needed and ability to work remotely Requirements Potential Team Members should have: High school diploma or equivalent Previous Plastics/Resins Experience preferred Computer literacy Experience in Transportation, Bulk or Tank logistics preferred Self-Starter mentality and ability to work independently or in a team environment Excellent conflict resolution skills Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Schedule:
