Job Skills / Requirements Saturday-Sunday 2nd Shift Lead (2pm-10pm) Monday-Tuesday Command Center Operator (2pm-10pm)Role:
The Shift Lead / Command Center Operator supports site operations by overseeing shift activities, monitoring command center functions, coordinating communications, and ensuring compliance with established procedures. This role maintains operational awareness, directs personnel during assigned shifts, responds to and documents incidents, and escalates issues as required to ensure continuity of operations. Schedule and Coverage Expectations The Shift Lead / Command Center Operator is responsible for supporting assigned shift coverage, facilitating shift pass-downs, managing post assignments, and monitoring command center operations. Flexibility is required to meet operational demands, including overtime, coverage for absences, training, special events, emergency response, and other business needs. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary shift point of contact for officers, site personnel, visitors, and management. Monitor command center systems, cameras, radios, phones, alarms, logs, and other assigned platforms throughout the shift. Coordinate daily post coverage, breaks, relief, call-offs, and shift transitions to ensure consistent coverage. Provide direction, coaching, and support to team members while reinforcing Honda site procedures and company expectations. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, emergencies, access control concerns, and operational issues in a timely and professional manner. Document shift activity, incidents, pass-down information, staffing updates, and required reports accurately. Escalate critical matters to management, contacts, emergency services, or other designated contacts according to procedure. Maintain professional communication across radio, phone, email, and in-person interactions. Verify that posts are operating according to assignment instructions, safety requirements, and client expectations. Support investigations, audits, drills, and special assignments as directed. Qualifications and Skills Prior security, command center, dispatch, or shift lead experience preferred. Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in fast-paced or emergency situations. Strong communication, leadership, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to monitor multiple systems and prioritize tasks during active operations. Dependable attendance, sound judgment, and commitment to following procedures. Knowledge of site operations, access control, incident response, and post orders preferred. Preferred Skills Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Minimum Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation (subject to change based on client-specific needs) Ability to stand or sit for at least 1 hour without a break. Walk at least 1/2 mile without stopping.Education and Experience Minimum:
High School Diploma or equivalent.Preferred:
1 + Year of dispatch experience in a security, emergency response, or command center environment strongly preferred. 1+ year of Military, Law Enforcement, or Security experience. 2+ years of customer service experience.NOTE:
