Description Robert Half is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Overnight Dispatcher to join a local team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating overnight operations, communicating with drivers or field staff, monitoring schedules, and responding quickly to issues as they arise. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly organized, and able to work independently during overnight hours. Key Responsibilities

+ Monitor and coordinate overnight dispatch operations

+ Communicate with drivers, technicians, or field personnel regarding schedules, route changes, and service updates

+ Track assignments, job progress, and estimated arrival times

+ Respond to calls, messages, and operational issues in a timely and professional manner

+ Enter and update dispatch information accurately in company systems

+ Escalate urgent issues to management when needed

+ Maintain detailed logs of incidents, delays, and service activity

+ Ensure all overnight coverage is handled efficiently and according to company procedures

+ Provide shift handoff notes to the incoming team Requirements Qualifications

+ Previous dispatch, logistics, transportation, customer service, or call center experience preferred

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities

+ Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment

+ Comfortable working independently overnight

+ Proficiency with computers, scheduling systems, and phone-based communication
