In this vital role, you will coordinate and manage the dispatching of delivery vehicles, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Your expertise in transportation planning, logistics systems, and communication tools will drive operational excellence and support our commitment to reliable delivery services. This job requires you to be very flexible, independent and reliable. Duties Coordinate daily dispatching of delivery vehicles using vehicle dispatch software and transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and AS400. Monitor GPS and GIS data to optimize routes, track vehicle locations, and ensure adherence to DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and internal teams via phone calls, internal messaging platforms, and email to relay instructions and updates. Manage freight schedules, shipping & receiving processes, and fleet management activities to ensure smooth logistics flow. Maintain accurate data entry of dispatch records, delivery logs, and shipment details while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards. Handle phone call management with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing driver inquiries or customer concerns. Collaborate with supply chain partners including 3PL providers to coordinate shipments, resolve issues promptly, and improve overall transportation efficiency. Skills Proficiency in

GIS, GPS

technology, transportation planning, and vehicle dispatch software. Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, logistics management, and road transportation procedures. Experience with transportation management systems Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and phone etiquette for effective internal communication. Organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry, record keeping, and dispatch scheduling. Ability to analyze routing data and optimize fleet utilization for efficiency. Familiarity with DOT regulations related to vehicle operation and freight transportation compliance. Competency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes.
