Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Amazon DSP Dispatcher / Operations Manager who understands the day-to-day realities of running a successful Amazon Delivery Service Partner operation. This is a hands-on operations position . We are looking for someone who can lead a team, manage daily operations, and also step in and dispatch routes when needed . The ideal candidate understands Amazon DSP operations, driver management, route execution, safety, scorecard performance, and the fast-paced nature of last-mile delivery. Flexibility is extremely important. Delivery operations can change quickly due to call-outs, route changes, weather, vehicle issues, rescues, and other operational needs. The right candidate should be comfortable adapting and helping wherever needed to ensure successful daily execution. Key Responsibilities Manage daily Amazon DSP delivery operations from loadout through route completion. Dispatch drivers and monitor routes throughout the day. Ensure drivers leave the station on time and routes are properly staffed. Monitor driver progress and identify routes that are falling behind. Coordinate rescues and route support when necessary. Handle driver call-outs, attendance issues, late arrivals, and last-minute staffing changes. Troubleshoot delivery, device, vehicle, routing, and on-road issues. Communicate professionally with Amazon station leadership and company management. Manage and coach Delivery Associates on safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and customer service. Review operational and scorecard performance and help develop improvement plans. Assist with scheduling based on projected route volume and staffing requirements. Work closely with fleet personnel regarding grounded vehicles, maintenance issues, and vehicle availability. Ensure company and Amazon safety procedures are consistently followed. Conduct driver stand-ups, coaching conversations, and performance discussions. Help onboard and train new drivers and dispatchers. Maintain accurate operational records and escalate significant issues to ownership/leadership. Be willing to step into dispatch or other operational responsibilities whenever business needs require it. What We're Looking For Amazon DSP experience is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate:

Has previous experience as an Amazon DSP Dispatcher, Operations Manager, Operations Supervisor, Lead Dispatcher, or similar role . Understands how an Amazon DSP operates from loadout through RTS . Has hands-on dispatching experience. Understands route monitoring, rescues, driver performance, safety, and delivery quality. Is comfortable managing drivers and holding team members accountable. Can remain calm and make decisions during high-pressure situations. Has strong communication and problem-solving skills. Is comfortable using computers, smartphones, spreadsheets, and operational software. Has strong organizational and time-management skills. Is dependable, punctual, and accountable. Has a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Is willing to learn and adapt as Amazon processes and operational requirements change. Schedule & Flexibility This position requires schedule flexibility . Our operation runs seven days a week, and candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

This may include:

Weekdays and weekends Early mornings or evenings Peak-season schedules Holidays when operations require coverage Occasional extended hours during operational disruptions This does not necessarily mean working seven days per week . However, the person in this position must understand that last-mile operations require leadership flexibility and reliable coverage. What Success Looks Like We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the operation . A successful candidate does not simply watch a computer screen. They anticipate problems, communicate with drivers, develop the team, make operational decisions, coordinate rescues, address attendance and performance issues, and help ensure every route is completed safely and successfully . You should be someone who can manage the operation when things are going well and take control when they are not.
