Operations Coordinator (Scheduling & Dispatch) Hybrid

We run a growing mobile grooming operation across Rockland and Bergen County, and this role is at the center of it. About the role This is not just scheduling. You'll be managing the day-to-day flow of the business. Schedules, routes, client communication, and making sure everything is running the way it should. When this role is done well, the entire operation runs better. What your day looks like Building and adjusting daily schedules using MoeGo Communicating with clients by text, phone, and email Helping pet owners choose the right services based on breed, coat, and timing Working with groomers to keep routes efficient and on schedule Handling reschedules, confirmations, and notes Supporting light in-person tasks like towel drop-offs, supply runs, and quick van checks What makes this role different You're not just answering phones You're helping run the operation You're working directly with a small, growing team You'll see how a service business actually runs behind the scenes Who this is a great fit for Someone with scheduling, admin, or customer service experience Someone who is detail-oriented and stays calm under pressure Someone who communicates clearly and confidently Someone who likes being organized and in control of moving parts Experience with pets, grooming, or animal care is a big plus and will make this role much easier to step into Bonus if you already understand dog breeds, coat types, and basic grooming needs Schedule & setup Part-time to start (16-24 hours per week) Hybrid role (mostly remote with local in-person support) Sundays and Mondays preferred, other days flexible Must be local to Rockland/Bergen area What you get Flexible work-from-home setup Real responsibility in a growing business Opportunity to grow into a larger operations role over time If you like the idea of being the person who keeps everything running, this is a great role to grow into. Pay:
